September 05, 2017 : State unit of BJP today held a core committee meeting in New Delhi and discussed about prevailing political scenario of the State. All India BJP president Amit Shah was also present. Leaders reviewed party’s Poll strategy in accordance with emerging political situation.
Speaking about the meeting State BJP president Biplab Deb said, expansion and strengthening of party’s organization in all of the booths in the State was extensively discussed in the core committee meeting. Sources said, pre-poll alliance with tribal based regional Party INPT was discussed and leaders decided to form the alliance.
Party sources said, both the old and new faces of the Party will unitedly fight to dethrone ruling CPIM from power.
Apart from State Prabhari Sunil Deodhar and State president Biplab Deb, in the core committee meeting, vice presidents Subal Bhowmik, Ram Prashad Pal and Ramapada Jamatia, general secretaries Tapas Bhattacharjee and Pratima Bhowmik, State observer of Janajati Morcha Jishnu Debbarman attended today’s meeting.
Also second NEDA political conclave with five Chief Ministers of North Eastern States was held today in Delhi. NEDA convenor cum Assam Finance Minister Hemant Biswa Sharma claimed BJP will form Government in Tripura and other Non-BJP NE States. Attending the Conclave, Amit Shah said, NEDA is not just a political platform but also a platform for cultural exchange and intellectual maneuvering. He also announced that a research centre and cultural centre would be set up soon in Guwahati.
