September 24, 2017: The two day long 4th North East Connectivity Summit 2017 concluded yesterday in Kohima. Nagaland Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar, said North East Connectivity has provided a platform for Government of India, State Governments of North East Region, and neighbouring countries to come together to exchange ideas, views and expertise network in the informal time space to take North East connectivity to the next level. The Chief Secretary expressed his gratitude to the visiting dignitaries for providing a broad canvas on how North East connectivity issues has to be dealt with and enriching the various session in a in a holistic manner.
Meanwhile, Member of Parliament from Assam, Gaurav Gogoi said that such summit provide an idea and potentiality of the rich culture of North East. He said more cultural festivals like Hornbill festival need to be organized so as to attract more tourists in the state (AIR NEWS)
