Nagaland Home Minister Y Patton has criticized State Governor P B Acharya for his statement in the media alleging that the present government in the state is corrupt. During the NPF Central Executive Council meeting held yesterday. Home Minister Y Patton said since the Governor’s opinion was against the functioning of the present government, how would he be able to address the Assembly saying “my government is corrupt.” Alleging that Raj Bhavan was becoming a place for RSS and BJP, he said before things become too serious Naga People’s Front, NPF leaders interactions with the Governor. He also asked BJP to remember that the party was surviving in the state because of NPF. The NPF is the major party in the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland that is ruling the state since 2003. BJP is a partner in the alliance. Minister for PWD(National Highway) Nuklutoshi too criticized the Governor during the meeting. He also said that the Governor should not be allowed to go to villages without invitation and check implementation of centrally sponsored schemes, specially MGNREGA and Mid Day Meal.
