100 cr Vax milestone: BJP leaders hail PM, CM

  

As the country achieved 100 crore Covid vaccination milestone, BJP in Agartala and different other places organized press meets on Friday to convey heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for the inevitable achievement. Leaders also hailed the Tripura Chief Minister for inoculating 96 percent of the population with the first dose.

 

BJP organized a press meet at Sepahijala District BJP (North) party Office today in which State BJP vice president Rajiv Bhattacharjee and other district-level leaders were present.

 

Addressing the media, Bhattacharjee thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb for the momentous steps taken to vaccinate people against the Covid19. He said, “A total of 5 lakh 27 thousand 864 in Sepahijala district.  Among them, 3 lakh 30 thousand 326 received the first dose while the remaining 1 lakh 97 thousand 537 persons received both doses.

 

Bhattacharjee also hailed the role of corona warriors – Health workers, Anganwadi and ASHA workers, media persons, clubs and social organizations.

 

Minister Ramprasad Pal while addressing a press meet in Belonia today said, what other nations failed to do, India has done that – administered 100 crore Covid vaccines to people free of cost. At the national level, credit goes for achieving the milestone to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

“In our State, with the efforts of Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, 96 percent of the total population received the first dose while 67 percent also received the second dose”, the Minister said.

 

During his visit to Belonia, Ramprasad Pal also visited the Covid center at Belonia Hospital.
