The girl's father, Kanaia Tripura, filed a police report at the Gandachara Police Station against the accused, Mohammad Ala Mia on Wednesday.

Kanaia Tripura said he didn't personally know Ala Mia but had heard through local channels that he is a Bangladeshi citizen. For the past few months, Ala Mia had reportedly been working as a mason at Ambassa in the same district.

According to Kanaia's allegation, Ala Mia forcibly abducted his daughter from near their home in the Krishna Chandra Para area on June 10 at around 6:30 pm. Despite extensive searching, Kanaia Tripura was unable to locate his daughter. He did, however, receive a brief phone call from his daughter’s mobile phone late Tuesday night around 9:30 pm. During the call, his daughter only managed to convey that she was currently in the custody of Bangladeshi police before the call abruptly ended. Since then, her phone has been unreachable.

Anxious and panicked by the situation, Kanaia Tripura made a desperate plea to both the Indian and State Governments. He urged them to bring the perpetrator to justice and secure his daughter's safe return.
