National Girl Child Day : Girl child a blessing, says CM; DM Sepahijala shares a touching experience

On the National Girl Child Day, District Magistrate of the Sepahijala District, Vishwasree V, IAS shared a touching experience on Monday

 

Earlier, Tripura Chief Minister greeted all on the occasion and wrote in his Facebook, “Greetings to all on National Girl Child Day! Girl Child is a blessing and happiness to the family. Let us pledge to provide them a better education, better opportunities and safe environment for to grow up in flying colours”.

Daughters are just like angels, they radiate affection, happiness & harmony in home. My daughter completes me & my family. She is proving herself in every sphere of life and I am proud of her”.

 

On this, Deb also congratulated multi-talented Tripura girl Puhabi Chakraborti for winning the PM Rashtriya Bal Puraskar and wrote, “Much gratitude to Hon PM & Union Minister Smt Smriti Irani Ji for uplifting the moral of the children through 'Rashtriya Baal Puraskar.

 

Puhabi, a student of class 10 KV, NIT has won 2 gold & 1 bronze medal for India in the Wako International Kickboxing Championship & has developed an AI based app 'AthleteX: For the Atmanirbhar Athlete', which was one of the top 20 winners for Intel AI for youth program- 2021.

 

She has decided to give 50% of her prize money of Bal Shakti Puraskar to PM cares fund.

 

I am amazed by her achievements, she is an inspiration for millions. My best wishes to her for her future endeavours”.

 

Meantime, DM and Collector of Sepahijala Vishwasree V tweeted a touching experience. She wrote, “So i was conducting a VC with doctors on vaccination, covid cases etc. I was coughing throughout the VC. Nobody says anything. One female doctor, who joins late in VC, sees me & immediately texts me the medicine I shuld take. That's the warmth of #women. #womenpower #girlchildday.”

 

Besides, she also tweeted stressing the need for equality. Vishwashree V wrote, On this #NationalGirlChildDay let's resolve to facilitate equal space & equal opportunities to all girls. No additional effort needed, just facilitate their access to their entitlements and this will do wonders to society.
