Tripura Police with GRP rescue thee missing girls within 24 hrs after reporting

In a prompt action and coordination, Tripura Police with the help of GRP personnel succeeded in rescuing three minor girls within 24 hours after reporting.

 

Three students of North Lalchari area of Ambassa subdivision under Dhalai district in Tripura went out of their homes to attend school on September 23 last. 

 

As the three students did not return home after usual school hours, parents became anxious and went to the school in search of the girls - however, the parents came to know that the three girls did not attend school.

 

Later, the parents intimated the Police. Soon after receiving the complaint Police alerted police stations as well as the GRPs. 

 

Finally, GRP personnel rescued the two out of the three missing girls from Agartala Rail station on Saturday night. 

 

Later, the other missing girl was found in her relatives' house at Damchhera under North Tripura.

 

All the three missing girls were handed over to their respective parents, police sources said.

 

It is learnt, the missing students boarded a train at Ambassa railway station and went to Silchar for an outing on September 23. After spending a night, they returned to the state on the next day.

 

Tripura Police in a social media post confirmed that Ambassa police, Dhalai District acted sharply and recovered the three minor missing girls and handed them over to their parents within 24 hours of reporting.

 

Prompt and effective intervention by the Tripura Police and GRP personnel earned praises from all quarters as well as brought reliefs to the concerned families before the festive season in the state.
