Union MoS for Agriculture, Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya today arrived in Tripura on a three-day visit. On arrival to Agartala, Mr. Kundariya visited the ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region’s Tripura Centre at Lembucherra, near Agartala. (http://www.enewstime.in/?p=958) Later in the afternoon, he gave a courtesy call to the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and discussed measures to give a boost to the agricultural development of the State. Tripura Chief Minister, in turn, requested the Union Minister to take steps for setting-up a Central Agriculture University in the State. Mr. Kundariya later told AIR that he would convey the CM’s request to PM and discuss every issue needed to develop the agriculture sector of Tripura with Shri Modi.
