TBSE likely to announce Secondary and Higher Secondary exam results between May 20-25, Appr 6000 apear in TBJEE

The results of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations are likely to be published between May 20 and 25. 

Meantime, approximately 6000 candidates appeared for the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) 2024 on Thursday.

Speaking about Board exam results, TBSE Chairman Dr. Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury said on Thursday. He said this year about 33 thousand students appeared in the Madhyamik examination and around 23 thousand students appeared in the Higher Secondary examination. The evaluation of answer sheets of both the examinations started from 24 April. 

In Agartala, the answer sheets of Madhyamik are being evaluated at Kamini Kumar School, Bodhjung Girls' School, Vijay Kumar Girls' School and Bani Vidyapith Girls' School. 

The answer sheets of Higher Secondary are being evaluated at Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan and Badharghat Higher Secondary School. 

The Board Chairman expressed hopes that the evaluation of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary answer sheets would be completed by May 12.

Meantime, TBJEE chairman Dr. Raja Chakraborty informed the media that Both PCM and PCB group exams were conducted today in which about 6000 students appeared.

To ensure the exams ran smoothly, Dr. Chakraborty, along with secretary Dr. Prithvijyoti Bhowmik and others, visited exam centers in the state capital.

"Exams for Group A (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and Group B (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) were held concurrently. Many candidates also took the Group C exam, which includes all four subjects," Dr. Chakraborty stated.

This year, there were a total of 17 exam centers across the state, with 11 in the capital city.

The TBJEE Chairman announced that the results are expected to be declared tentatively in the fourth week of May 2024.

The Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) is a state-level exam conducted by TBJEE for admissions into various professional degrees offered in Tripura's colleges, including Engineering, Medical, Technological, Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, and Paramedical courses.
